BLOG #1 - Better Late Than Never

It’s been a year since www.imagesbyknight.ca went online in August 2009.  Since then, there have been a few adjustments and tweaks as I’ve learned about managing the website.  Many thanks to Jason and Melissa Semenek, Hands On Media (Canmore), for their help and patience.  Thank you too to those of you who have provided feedback and suggestions.

The Website
Two features on the website that have not been working are the BLOG and SEARCH buttons.

With this first BLOG, the BLOG button should now work.  From here on, it will be up to me to write new contributions periodically so that those of who are interested can keep up-to-date on my travels and photography.

The SEARCH button is still inoperative.  I’ve decided to leave it this way until the website is updated and revised next year.  In the meantime, if you’re looking for a specific image, and either you don’t want to wade through, or you don’t see it in one of the Galleries, give me a shout via www.imagesbyknight.ca

The Website’s Future
Before the first rendition of my website was completed, I had noted several things that I wanted to change or add.  These changes will likely be made later next year, and will include a ‘search engine’ to find images more quickly, and a means to purchase Prints and Note Cards on-line with a credit card.  If you’ve got any suggestions, I’d like to hear them.

Next BLOG’s
•    Loons in June
•    Grizzlies in September
•    Yellowknife in winter
•    Pacific Rim in Winter

Thank you for your continued support and interest in www.imagesbyknight.ca.

All the best to everyone.

John
